SDG IDEATHON
We are committed to hear and support the potential, ideas, and capacity of the youth to bring positive change to our world. Through the SDG Ideathon, we are giving them the opportunity to drive change and make valuable impact in the real world.

As future leaders, our youth hold immense potential in changing the world and realizing sustainable development.
Through the SDG Ideathon, youth from the Philippines and Japan are given the platform to brainstorm ideas, discuss, and advocate for issues closest to their hearts like poverty, hunger, and lack of quality education.
SDG Ideathon plants seeds of hope in their hearts to make a difference and serve as catalysts for transformative change.

TESTIMONIALS

In urban areas today, many students are spending excessive time playing online games, leading to potential addiction. To redirect their focus and engage them in a more constructive activity, we introduced vertical farming "Sustainable Agriculture for Youth in Urban Areas" as a means to captivate youths with the joy of planting instead of allowing technology to consume their time.

"I was amazed that all of us enjoyed the vertical farming activity. Some kids nowadays are not really into farming but this project really made me believe that farming hasn't ended. I learned that farming isn't about how much land you have, but about your passion to give back to Mother Earth and your community."

We came up with "We are Chefs" for the purpose of exchanging delicacies between two cultures at first. Then, one of my Japanese brothers came up with an idea of sharing this project by giving food to people as an act to achieve SDG No.2 " Zero Hunger" which aims to achieve food security and improve nutrition."
