JUNIOR LEADERSHIP
TRAINING PROGRAM
What is the Junior Leadership Training Program?
NGO LOOB provides educational support to those who have difficulty in going to school but are deserving and promising. Currently, we're supporting 70 children and youths from elementary to university level.

With the eagerness to help these youths not only financially but also morally, NGO LOOB started the Junior Leadership Training Program in Iloilo City last 2016. The Junior Leaders consist of Junior and Senior High School students coming from Barangay Calajunan where the sanitary landfill is located. There are also Junior Leaders who hail from Brgy. Navais in Iloilo City, as well as in Brgy. Namocon, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
The overall aim of this program is to enhance their leadership thus increasing their spontaneity and positivity. Besides the financial support, the program also provides learning opportunities such as leadership trainings and SDGs Workshops.

"JLTP helped me become a better and more responsible person. Before, I was a very shy type of person, and I was very hesitant to speak my opinion. However, the Junior Leadership Program taught me how to not be afraid to speak out because every opinion matters."

"The JL program helped me in three meaningful ways. First, I was able to meet different people that eventually became my friends. Second, I became confident in everything I do. Lastly, I gained knowledge and experiences that helped me become a better citizen of my country, and helped me grow as a person."
